We also recommend a sauce to accompany them and enhance their flavour.<\/p>\n<p>If you feel like continuing preparing patties, have a look at the Meatballs and patties section of the blog and try <a href=\"http:\/\/unochefpergaia.it\/rixcetta-vegana-e-senza-glutine-i-falafel\/\">Falafel<\/a> if you want to opt for vegetarian cuisine.<\/p>\n<p>They are simply irresistible!<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Couscous patties\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><u>carbohydrates 18.9g per 100g of patties without sauce<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>200g Green pumpkin pulp<\/li>\n<li>180 g ready-made couscous** (I love <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biacouscous.it\/ita\/#\/products\">gluten free Bia Couscous <\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>60g diced speck*<\/li>\n<li>40g raisins<\/li>\n<li>40g Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, grated<\/li>\n<li>1 clove garlic<\/li>\n<li>1 egg<\/li>\n<li>extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>**Ingredients specific for celiacs<\/p>\n<p>*Ingredients whose labels must read \u201cgluten-free\u201d (or, in Italy, present on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.celiachia.it\/dieta-senza-glutine\/il-prontuario-degli-alimenti\/il-prontuario\/\">\u00a0Prontuario AIC<\/a>)<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Ingredients for the sauce<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>250g Mutti tomato pulp<\/li>\n<li>extra virgin olive oil, oregano, thyme, chilli, salt and pepper to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Preparation<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Soak the rasisins in warm water. Dice the pumpkin and brown it in a pan with a little extra virgin olive oil and the clove of garlic; let it cook for 15 minutes. Remove the garlic, add the speck and squeezed raisins, then cover and cook for another 5 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Place the cooked pumpkin in a bowl with the couscous and mix, crushing the pumpkin so that the mixture is fairly homogenous. Add the egg and grated Parmesan cheese, mix well and season with salt and pepper.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1356\" src=\"http:\/\/unochefpergaia.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/IMG_20171231_141518.jpg\" alt=\"polpette-cous-cous-senza-glutine-uno-chef-per-gaia\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Shape the mixture into round balls, place them on a baking tin lined with parchment paper, drizzle them lightly with oil and bake in a convection oven preheated to 180\u00b0C for about 20 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Meanwhile, prepare the accompanying sauce.
