{"id":11955,"date":"2024-02-12T17:13:05","date_gmt":"2024-02-12T17:13:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unochefpergaia.it\/?p=11955"},"modified":"2024-02-12T17:13:31","modified_gmt":"2024-02-12T17:13:31","slug":"out-of-home-meals-lentil-and-chickpea-burgers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unochefpergaia.it\/en\/out-of-home-meals-lentil-and-chickpea-burgers\/","title":{"rendered":"Out-of-home meals: Lentil and chickpea burgers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A <strong>super tasty idea for out-of-home meals<\/strong> that will not make you feel guilty when eating: <strong>Lentil and chickpea burgers<\/strong>, the vegetarian alternative to one of the most popular dishes amongst young people.<\/p>\n<p>These vegetarian burgers are an excellent way of eating legumes in a less common preparation, which is so tasty that it may conquer even those who are not very fond of lentils and chickpeas.<\/p>\n<p>This lunch box is rich in plant proteins and fibre, which leads to long lasting fullness and low glycemic index, elements that will turn this lunch box into a great companion for many meals!<\/p>\n<p>Follow me in order not to run short of ideas for out-of-home meals and have a loot at my recipe of <a href=\"https:\/\/unochefpergaia.it\/pranzi-fuori-casa-legumotti-con-ragu-di-verdure-e-topinambur\/\">Legumotti with vegetable ragout and Jerusalem artichokes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Lentil and chickpea burgers<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><u>62g carbohydrates for the whole lunch box<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Ingredients for 1 lunch box<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>110g lentils, boiled<\/li>\n<li>100g chickpeas, boiled<\/li>\n<li>1 Tropea onion<\/li>\n<li>40g leek<\/li>\n<li>20g breadcrumbs** + breading<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon of grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese<\/li>\n<li>extra virgin olive oil<\/li>\n<li>Balsamic vinegar of Modena<\/li>\n<li>pickled cucumbers*<\/li>\n<li>string beans or other vegetables in season<\/li>\n<li>paprika<\/li>\n<li>chilli pepper<\/li>\n<li>salt and pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>**Ingredients specific for celiacs<\/p>\n<p>*Ingredients whose labels must read \u201cgluten-free\u201d (or, in Italy, present on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.celiachia.it\/dieta-senza-glutine\/il-prontuario-degli-alimenti\/il-prontuario\/\">\u00a0Prontuario AIC<\/a>)<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Preparation<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Saut\u00e9 the chopped leek in a pan with a little extra virgin olive oil, then put it in a blender with the lentils and boiled chickpeas; blend to a cream.<\/li>\n<li>Add a tablespoon of Parmesan cheese, the breadcrumbs, paprika, chilli pepper, salt and pepper and mix well.<\/li>\n<li>Slice the Tropea onion and brown it in a non-stick pan with a little oil, a pinch of salt and finally douse it with balsamic vinegar from Modena.<\/li>\n<li>Pour a trickle of oil in a non-stick frying pan and another trickle on the palm of one hand to easily form a burger with the lentil and chickpea mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Cover the burger with breadcrumbs and brown it on both sides in the pan with the oil.<\/li>\n<li>Assemble the lunch box by placing two burgers, Tropea onion, sweet and sour cucumbers and complete with boiled green beans or other vegetables in season.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/unochefpergaia.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Burger-di-lenticchie-e-ceci-17-632x544.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6420 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/unochefpergaia.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Burger-di-lenticchie-e-ceci-17-632x544.jpg\" alt=\"burger di lenticchie e ceci\" width=\"632\" height=\"544\" srcset=\"https:\/\/unochefpergaia.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Burger-di-lenticchie-e-ceci-17-632x544.jpg 632w, https:\/\/unochefpergaia.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Burger-di-lenticchie-e-ceci-17-233x200.jpg 233w, https:\/\/unochefpergaia.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Burger-di-lenticchie-e-ceci-17.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 632px) 100vw, 632px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A super tasty idea for out-of-home meals that will not make you feel guilty when eating: Lentil and chickpea burgers, the vegetarian alternative to one of the most popular dishes amongst young people.
